Join the Black Arts District by offering your time and expertise to help guide and support this organization through joining the Advisory Committee, Baltimore Cultural Equity Committee, Board of Directors, or becoming a volunteer!
The Back Arts District Advisory Committee is a structured way for local Baltimore creatives to share their opinions and perspectives, develop recommendations, support staff and board members as we collectively work towards making Baltimore the ideal place for black creatives and black creativity.
The Baltimore Cultural Equity Committee (BCEC) is dedicated to advocating for and advancing equity in Baltimore’s creative and cultural communities. This committee is made up of creatives, activists, educators researchers and community leaders who are invested in helping to make Baltimore a thriving creative city that centers cultural equity.
The Black Arts District Board of Directors manages the direction of the organization, staff and programs.
Volunteers help support the organization through administrative tasks, community engagement, event support and more.
