Bromo Arts District

Located in Downtown Baltimore, the Bromo Tower Arts & Entertainment District was established in 2012 to realize the area’s potential as a thriving downtown arts neighborhood. The Bromo Tower A&E District, anchored to the south by the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower, stretches north to include the historic Lexington Market and up to Antique Row, just blocks away from Mount Vernon.

This district includes the following art & entertainment:  Hippodrome Theatre, Everyman Theatre, Arena Players, Bromo Tower, Maryland Art Place, Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and Cultural Center, Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum, Lexington Market, Faidley’s Seafood, The Bun Shop & Forno.

Highlandtown Arts

The Highlandtown Arts & Entertainment District is the city’s most eclectic arts district, filled with public art, painted screens, piñata makers, and parades. In Highlandtown, furniture makers and jewelry makers work alongside coffee roasters and culinary artists. Restaurants and art galleries welcome patrons during First Friday Art Walk and more.

This district includes the following art & entertainment:  Creative Alliance, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Patterson Park & Matthew’s Pizzeria

Station North Arts & Entertainment District

Located in the heart of Baltimore, Station North was the first area in Baltimore to receive the State designation as an Arts & Entertainment District in 2002.Spanning the neighborhoods of Charles North, Greenmount West, and Barclay, Station North is a diverse collection of artist live-work spaces, galleries, rowhomes, and businesses, all just steps away from Penn Station, Mount Vernon, Charles Village, the Maryland Institute College of Art, the University of Baltimore, and Johns Hopkins University.

This district includes the following art & entertainment:  Maryland Institute College of Art, Open Works, Charles Theatre, Parkway Theatre, Ottobar, Noona’s, Tapas Teatro & Jong Kak
