Welcome to the Black Arts District

Don't miss our 2nd Annual SOUL Soirée: A Night of Black Artistic Excellence!

Join us for a beautiful night where live music will fill the galleries, poets will command the room, and handcrafted cocktails and decadent desserts will set the tone for a night of connection and celebration. Every ticket, sponsorship, and gift fuels the Black Arts District's 2027 programming, so the artists, young poets, and cultural traditions of Pennsylvania Avenue keep thriving for generations to come. DewMore Baltimore is a youth-centered arts program that uses poetry as a tool for civic engagement, creative expression, and personal development. Through partnerships with schools, community organizations, and public agencies, DewMore creates safe, dynamic spaces where young people can explore their voices and engage with the world around them. Rooted in a commitment to serving historically marginalized communities, the program fosters confidence, critical thinking, and leadership through innovative, arts-based programming that connects creativity with community impact.
